The community of Highland Springs-Big Valley, aspires to preserve natural and organic farming. We are a simple people living among the fields of grape vines, walnuts, cypress and olive trees. We respect and farm the land that surrounds us, yearning to nurture a flow of "green" varietals everywhere.
We maintain this beautiful land in it's present state while we come to this special place to rest, to write, to nurture the spirit. I am amazed daily by the natural elegance here. Every sunrise and sunset, spectacular.
I am drawn to Makiivka Estate from the Bay Area to plant in the fields.
