I just got to join this site. I am interested in knowing more about growing olive trees in subsaharan Africa. I was thrilled to read that Liberia, a west africa country is one of the major producers of olive oil, this implies that this could also be possible in some other west african countries like Nigeria since they share similar climate. Could someone pls enlighten me more on this fact. I am interested in growing olive tress in Nigeria given the enormous market in nigeria with a population of 140million people.
