Hello there,
My name is Samad. i grew up in Morocco and have lived in Seattle for the last 12 years. I've always wanted to explore the idea of importing olives from where i came from. Helas, that requires huge funds and expertise which i don't have. So  i am wondering if there is any company that might be interested in this idea. Being from that part of the world, i know i can secure a market that produce a fine type of olives and help improving the lives of many families that depends on the production of olives by promoting a genuine fair trade between the US and my home village. Thank you for your time.

Hi Zaouia,

Your story remind me the one of Mustapha who came from Morocco more than 25 years ago, you can read his story here:
http://stores.mustaphas.com/Page.bok?template=about

Maybe you could contact his office, their phone number is (800) 481-4590

Anyway, even if Moroccan Olives are very good, it's still very hard to compete with Greek, French, Spanish and Italian.

Bonne chance a toi l'ami  Wink

Hi .
I'm Mamdouh DAHAN.
I'm from Morocco and I have a contact with a company which look for importer from all around the world. They start olive oil production olny two years ago, but they are offering very good quality. Tey got a silver meadal in an international.
Their olive oils are classified as extra virgin. Oils which are characterized by a low rate of acidity (<0.Cool. They are obtained from olives exclusively  by mechanical methods or other physical ways under special thermal conditions that did not produce the alteration of the oil. It should not be subject to treatment other than washing the fruit, pressing, preparing the dough, the separation of solid and liquid phases, decantation and / or centrifugation. their oils are stored in tanks in stainless steel support under inert gas to prevent oxidation. After the bottling of a grand cru in place for selective marketing .
The complementarity of thier expertise and the typicality of thier region made them able to obtain two types of oils (monovari?tales, and assembly), all extra virgin whose acidity does not exceed 0.20.
Intense fruity oil: oil monovari?tale Moroccan Picholine type, it is also an assembly of the oil of the season start, and season end.  Taste flavor tends Artichoke
Suave oil: oil blend of three varieties: Moroccan Picholine, Arbequina and Picual, Taste with a tendency Hazelnut flavor with a hint of cinnamon.
If you are still interested in this business you can contact me on my phone : 00212 658347206 or by private message.
Looking forward for your answer
