Après la première édition du SIAGRIM, Saïd Azarou se confie à Al BAYANE : Le «jury a été partial»
Ce qui est indéniable et que tout le monde s¹accorde à reconnaître,des efforts fort louables ont été déployés pour réussir la première édition du SIAGRIM (Salon international de l¹agriculture du Maroc). Cependant on a enregistré une grande anomalie et/ou faille ( !) quant au jury du SIAGRIM dont la liste de ses membres relève du mystère. Saïd Azarou, un professionnel patenté, compte parmi ceux qui ont été lésés du fait qu’il a été exclu de la liste des lauréats. Ne pouvant «digéré» cette omission, Saïd Azarou s¹est confié à Al BAYANE pour exprimer son fiel.

Black Olive Soup

- Serves 61 jar (4 1/2 ounces) pitted kalamata olives, drained
- 2 bottles (8 ounces each) clam juice
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 medium-size baking potatoes, peeled and cooked (1 1/2 cups)
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest
- 3 plum tomatoes, peeled and finely diced
- Lemon zest for garnish, optional
COMBINE the olives, clam juice and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes. Allow to cool slightly, then pour the mixture into a blender and puree.
Russian olive: friend or foe?

Russian olives have been planted in the United States since homesteading days, but some states now view the trees with such disdain that they’ve banned them. Richard Fast doesn’t want that mindset to pass North Dakota’s borders.
“We’re just happy to have a tree that survives,” the New Salem rancher said while harvesting a meager hay crop from his drought-ravaged land. “And they’re tough. When I need a good windbreak, they’re still there.”
