[Turkey] Olive festival at Tuğra restaurant

The Çırağan Palace Kempinski is hosting an Olive and Olive Oil Festival on Aug. 15-27 at its award-winning restaurant, Tuğra.Considered to be the “tree of life” in heaven’s garden and referred to as “liquid gold” by the Greek poet Homer and the symbol of Mediterranean cuisine; the olive tree continues to be celebrated today.

The restaurant’s new executive chef, Uğur Alpaslan, and his experienced culinary team will delight guests seeking healthy dishes prepared with olives and olive oil during the festival.

Guests of the Olive Oil Festival will receive luxurious gift packages containing olive oil and olive oil products from the event’s sponsors, Sadece Zeytin and L’Occitance.

Tuğra at the Çırağan Kempinski is the ideal place for those wishing to experience the perfect combination of Ottoman and modern Turkish cuisine and dine in the same elegant setting as the famous Ottoman sultans Abdülaziz, Murat V, Abdülhamid II and their wives once did.
